Owner | Founder | Business Development Principal

A native New Yorker, John Devaney has spent his entire life in the creative pursuits. He grew up in the eclectic Greenwich Village, where his dad was a writer and his mother, an art director, and the dinner table was often filled with like minded artists.

After attending New England College, he spent his career between New York and Virginia while maintaining a home in the Hamptons.

He has worked in both public and private sectors across diverse industries, such as finance, food service, law, and telecommunications, always with creativity and business development as the common thread.

He is also an accomplished photographer and writer.

An idea generator at heart, Devaney’s diverse background, a wealth of knowledge, and artistic capabilities led him to co-found East 27 Creative, where he enjoys helping clients build their visual brand from the ground up.

Our Mascot

Mini Cooper Convertible

Our Mini Cooper Convertible is the automotive equivalent of the boundlessly energetic team at East 27 Creative.

A marvelous marriage of British character and German know-how, our Mini is stylish, fun to drive and remarkably good on gas, which is great on those high-traffic days in the Hamptons.

She loves bright beach days, Maidstone Beach sunsets and full moon drives to Montauk Point.

If you see us out in the bright Orange Mini Cooper with the East 27 tags, stop and say hi! She loves to meet new clients and we love her European charm.
